hey how about this.
instead of banning members, you could have a miserable user setting which means that the user in question would have a miserable time on the zone. they could be subjected to things like logins only working half of the time and having to wait at least 180 seconds between sending qn's. a lot of forum sites have this feature and it would help teach some people on here a lesson.
i was thinking of saying "have this miserable user setting enforced on all premium members", but i've thought better of it.

let's not have another pipeline, where your ban consists of not being able to log in at all unless you're calling from an arizona phone number, and whilst listening to messages, instead of getting the message contents, you get a message saying:
You are not allowed to listen to this message, at this time! Nanny nanny boo boo, stick yo head in some doodoo. No, that wasn't a typo.
Now, maybe if someone got reduced to the status that you are on by default when you sign up, where they can play games but not communicate with anyone on the site or even be seen on the login list, it would work. But definitely not some kind of half restrictive status.

Robbie. What a fine idea this is! Banning people doesn't seem to work for some on here it must be said, so why not, have them experience problems logging into the site.
